GFF, Vista Bank signal three-year sponsorship settlement
The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) and Vista Bank Gambia Ltd. have entered right into a three-year sponsorship settlement to help the home males’s first division league competitors.
The settlement, signed on Wednesday, commits Vista Bank to offering the GFF with an annual sponsorship of two.5 million dalasis over the subsequent three years.
The signing ceremony happened on the Bank’s Head Office on Kairaba Avenue, attended by key representatives from each establishments.
The partnership was formalized by the President of the GFF, Lamin Kaba Bajo, and the managing director of Vista Bank Gambia Ltd., Eric Obeng Saah.
Speaking on the occasion, president Bajo hailed the settlement as a major step in direction of professionalising the home males’s top-flight league forward of the 2025/26 season.
He expressed optimism concerning the partnership’s potential to alleviate a number of the monetary challenges confronted by the Federation.
“This milestone is a testament to our commitment to elevating Gambian football,” he remarked, including that he hopes the collaboration will proceed to strengthen within the coming years.
Eric Obeng Saah, managing director of Vista Bank, described the partnership as a long-standing and fruitful relationship. He highlighted the Bank’s dedication to supporting soccer infrastructure growth in The Gambia and counseled President Bajo’s open-door management type, which has fostered collaboration.
In his closing remarks, deputy managing director Alkali Bah echoed the emotions of his MD, emphasising Vista Bank’s enthusiasm for contributing to the expansion of soccer within the nation.
As a part of this sponsorship settlement, the lads’s first division league will now be formally named The GFF First Division League Vista Bank Baluwo Official Partners, marking a brand new period in Gambian soccer.
